One-Pot Parmesan Chicken

Description

A delicious one-pot meal featuring chicken breasts, basmati rice, and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

1 lb. Chicken breast

1/2 tsp. Garlic powder

2 tbsp. Olive oil

tbsp. Butter

2 cloves Garlic

1 pinch Red pepper flakes

7 oz. Basmati rice

1.3 pts. Chicken broth

1.6 oz. Parmesan cheese

4 tbsp. Parsley


Instructions

Step 1: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Step 2: Heat 2 tbsp. of olive oil in a large non-stick pan and fry the chicken for 8 minuets until golden on both sides. Then, Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Using the same skillet, melt the butter, add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook for 1-2 minuets.

Step 4: Add the rice and chicken broth, stir to combine, then bring to a boil. Cover with a lid and cook over medium heat for around 10 minuets.

Step 5: Remove the lid and stir the rice, then top with the parmesan cheese. Arrange the chicken fillets on top and cook over low heat for 5 minuets.

Step 6: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve!
