Description

A festive and healthy green smoothie inspired by the Grinch, complete with a strawberry swirl to represent the Grinch’s growing heart.


Ingredients

1 Frozen banana

1/2 cup Frozen pineapple

1/2 Of a ripe avocado

23 cups Spinach

1 tsp. Honey

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1 cup 2% Milk

1 cup Frozen strawberries


Instructions

Step 1: In a blender, combine the spinach, frozen bananas, pineapple, avocado, honey, Greek yogurt, and almond milk. Blend on high until smooth and creaky, adding more almond milk as needed for a smooth consistency.

Step 2: In a separate small blender or food processor, blend the frozen strawberries until smooth to make a strawberry puree. Add a touch of honey if extra sweetness is desired.

Step 3: Pour the green smoothie into clear glasses, filling each about three-quarters full. Carefully spoon or swirl in the strawberry puree, giving a gentle swirl with a toothpick or knife for a marbled effect.

Step 4: Garnish with a sliced strawberry “heart” on the side or on top to mimic the Grinch’s heart growing three sizes!
